Recurring memberships for small companies are $900/yr, for medium sized companies it is $1000/yr, and for larger companies it is $1100/yr. Memberships are based on company complexity and the added work that we have to do for certification. Choose the correct stream for your company, then pay a flat $250 deposit to start — no hidden fees. Membership includes Concierge Consulting, a small donation to an Alberta-based charity, members-only newsletter, and our advertising on your behalf.
Good News: As part of our launch, we are offering 25% off memberships from late August to September September 14, 2026. This discount will automatically apply to all applications received during this time period (no code or other references needed).
What Happens Next
Once we receive your deposit, our team will contact you via the email address you provided. You will then be sent a short application form and we will do the rest (most of our verification process does not require your participation).
Approved businesses receive their Alberta Certified badge and are added to our public directory. If you are not approved, your deposit, less your $100 application fee, will be returned.

Alberta Certified is more than a directory listing. It’s joining a network of like-minded companies that share your values. Certified businesses are actively featured across our social media channels and in our subscribers-only newsletter — put directly in front of local customers, elected officials, government buyers, and industry partners actively looking for verified, ethical, Alberta-owned businesses to work with.
Our newsletter goes beyond promotion: subscribers get practical marketing tips for engaging local customers, government and industry insights, and economic outlooks relevant to Alberta business.
We built Alberta Certified to deliver more than a name on a membership list. Your subscription is tied directly to ongoing promotion — your business featured in our directory, on our social channels, and in our newsletter, in front of buyers actively looking for you.
We will host exclusive events with government and industry leaders to give your company the inside track of emerging trends, and networking opportunities.
Our Concierge Consulting is included with membership. We try to interpret government-speak for you, or cut through the red tape on your behalf. We will also get you in ‘good standing’ if your status has lapsed with Corporate Registries.
